Transcription from Clay to Cement

A cement transcription is the result of taking a silicone impression of a clay model and then separating the clay from the impression. A weak mixture of cement poured into the impression, allowed to dry, then separated from the silicone impression material. The surface was then painted with a weak mixture of oil paint and solvent.
